Magellan Maestro 4200 Review
The Magellan Maestro is the latest sacrifice from Magellan, and they claim it’s the slimmest contraption of it’s kind.
Actually the trade mark is quite basic, and features Assist Camera information and Post Unwritten law' sorting along with the usual navigation features.
The Maestro 4200 is targeted at the no frills ultra lightweight market, so if you are looking for the Inspector What's-its-name of Satellite Navigation systems the 4200 is not for you.
It also comes with a Marco Polo tour guide, however the downside is it’s very predetermined and more like a demo which you have to pay to fully unlock. The processor in it is relatively fast and is able to do calculations very much rapidly. The unit is also Windows Vista compatible.
The downside, it lacks Bluetooth functionality as well as transport updates. The other strange thing, the constituent can work in all of Europe but you must choose one department and once you have done this upon setup it’s locked forever so if you hit an incorrect button at the stage it will play the device useless unless you knapsack up house and move to the configured locality.
I find this a genuinely strange move by Magellan.
